DescriptionHandwritten report of Joseph Tregelles Hingston, Superintendent Medical Officer, addressed to the Committee of Management of the Isle of Man Lunatic Asylum. The report covers the year 1868 and provides details of the number of patients, their conditions, recoveries and deaths. There are tables that detail the average cost per patient per week, as well as the number of repairs and new items made in the Asylum's male and female shops.
